It is with great delight that Big On Shoes is off the ground after many years of talking about it.

I ended up with my size 12 feet in year 8 of high school, and have spent all the years that followed in thongs and occasionally a pair of very uncomfortable shoes - usually a size too small! After the birth of my first son William, I decided that it was time to put my talk into action and started investigating where this idea could take me. After almost 12 months of investigation I found a great range of international exporters as well as starting my own label ‘Melissa Westcott’ which are made in Spain and sold exclusively here at www.bigonshoes.com.au.

Big On Shoes is run as an 'at home' business with the loving support of my husband Toby, who has patiently worked with me to set up something very different for us. Located in the small mining town of Moranbah Central QLD, we have graciously accepted the support of family and friends in setting up this business, and could not have done it without the amazing design and web skills of Shirlene Russell, who has worked with us to build the website and design aspects of the business.

We welcome all feedback and enquiries including special requests, wedding parties (we can generally order our shoes in any size, so we can cater for the entire wedding party) and also wholesale enquiries.
