If there is one question we hear most in store and over the phone, it has to be "do you have any shoes I can put an orthotic into?". The demand for orthotic friendly shoes is growing rapidly and we are so happy that we have a range of nice and stylish shoes to offer in that regard for it was only a few years ago the only thing on offer would be a ballet flat that looked like ... err... shall I say it ... what your grandmother would wear.

DERBY: These are brand new in this week and are my top pick. How great are the colours! Derby by Rollie Nation is an all time favourite of mine, she is light weight, has a removable inner-sole and comes in so many fun colours. I actually wore a pair of these to my wedding a few years ago (in silver glitter) and had some orthotic inner-soles in them, I just simply took out the inner-sole that they come with and replaced them with mine. Sadly due to a factory change with COVID, they now only come in sizes EU37 - EU43 however we do hope that by the end of the year the EU44 - EU46 will return! CHECK THEM OUT HERE.

MARY: Oh Mary, where have you been all my life?! For those that are new to us here, Jacob + Therese is a brand very close to my heart, designed by us here at Big On Shoes and named after mine and Melissa's parents, we created this range for those that need a little extra love in the fit department and Mary is no exception to this. She not only caters to a little extra width in general, but she has a removable inner-sole. Again with this one, you can take the inner-sole out and replace her with your own orthotic. She is also made from very soft leather so she feels great on from day one. Mary feed so great on and my fav is the White Leopard. I find I can wear this with most outfits that I have. TRULY: For those that love a shoe that breaths, Truly is your girl! Truly is from the Rilassare range, which is made in Turkey so she has quality soft leather. I love Truly because she just molds with your foot so easily and has a removable inner-sole so you can swap your orthotic in easily. Perfect for those of us in the warmer climates that for sure! We snagged this one from the brand in sizes EU37 - EU42. CHECK THEM OUT HERE.

TIMBOON: Timboon is another one from the Rilassare range, again she has extremely soft leather which you can clearly see in the images alone plus she has a removable inner-sole. I am loving the laces on this one, they are so cute right??! Timboon is again a great one for those in the warmer climates or for those that don't like a completely closed in sneaker.  Available sizes in this style are EU38 - EU43 and in the two great colours Powder and Khaki.

MONTANA: For all those Hush Puppies lovers out there, this one is for you. There is a reason why Hush Puppies have been around for over 50 years, they know shoes! The comfort that is in this design alone is fabulous, but what makes it even better is that it, like the others, has a removable inner-sole as well. But do you know what I find very cool about this shoe, is that is has a little extra in the design that's hidden away. She has Bounce™ pods built into the outsole provide shock absorption and energy return AND she is endorsed by The Australian Physiotherapy Association. Now that is a serious bonus when it comes to a sneaker! Montana White, Black and Navy and in sizes US6 - US11.
