Styling Your Wide Leg Pants : Our top tips

So ladies, let's talk wide leg pants. Do you love or hate? This style started coming through in fashion a few years ago, I resisted at first, after all, who wants to add more material to their body right? But before too long, I was the owner of a pair of black denim 7/8ths wide leg pants from the Betty Basics range and wore them to death. It's now 3 years on and i've added several more pairs to my collection, however before you go diving into this style, there are a few tips to make it not so daunting. After all, wide leg pants actually lengthen legs and accentuate the waistline, creating an incredibly flattering silhouette on every body-type, so it's time to embrace this style and add a pair to your robe.

2. Monochrome your look 

A not so secret stylist tip that has been around for a long time has to be block colours, the same on top as bottom. Styling this way not only looks polished and elegant but gives you the chance to make your shoes and accessories pop on your outfit. Pairing your wide leg pants with the right shoe needs special attention, after all most wide leg pants are billowy, airy, and generally begin to flare at the top, so adding the right shoe to compliment it's voluminous form is important.
